Today we met with 3, second year students at KCCEM on the wildlife management course. They have worked with Simon before on his trip in February, and they showed us that they have already potted out some orchid seedlings. They have been growing in this pot now for 5 months and I think it has been very successful.
You may remember from last time the boys stayed in the owl face monkey house at KCCEM, which we thought suited very well. This time Zoe and I are in the Golden monkey house which we have been reliable told by some KCCEM students are beautiful and well behaved, which obvious suits us the best.
Rwandan rain is so much more amazing than British rain. We came out of our room after a 15 minute downpour and this is the view we got of Nyungwe national park.
This is our room for our stay at KCCEM along with a second room for storage/ kitchen place. I have done my first successful clothes washing however the drying is yet to be complete.
Obviously no tidying was done before this photo was taken.
