Well done to the Rwanda team and Lucia for setting up our crowd funding site to raise funds to take FAWE girls out to Nyungwe forsest to learn about orchids and experience the forest. To visit the site, see the student video and pledge support please visit http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/orchid-project-with-rwandan-girls-from-fawe
We are excited to hear that things are going well at FAWE and that Heather and Zoe will be visiting the school and setting up their new orchid laboratory before we arrive in February.

Workshops are off to a great start here with us working with a mixture of 1st and 2nd years. Everyone seems enthusiastic and keen to learn new techniques.

Heather and I have been giving lectures over the last few weeks, to all of the students, introducing them to orchids. We have had a good turn out of first year students who are exited to start practical in the lab.![IMG_20151201_151131](https://i0.wp.com/wsbeorchids.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/IMG_20151201_151131-300x225.jpg?resize=300%2C225)
