James explains 3D printing to Sister Eugenie, headteacher at FAWE. The printer sponsored by manufacturer Robox with materials sponsored by the Dyson Foundation will stay at FAWE with ongoing support from James. The FAWE girls will have their first workshop this afternoon.
A plant for our first day is the magnificent Spathodea campanulata or African Tulip Tree in the garden of Murugu Hostel. A species found across tropical Africa.
Tired but happy we are all at home in Murugu Hostel having a very late meal with Zoe and heather. Thanks to Tonny Nathan and Daniel who were all there to meet us at the airport. The bus arrives at 8.30am for a 9am start in FAWE School tomorrow.
