The count down begins. It is 2 days and 20 hours until we say farewell to the UK. I am Zoe Barnes one of the seven students going on this amazing trip to the Himalayas. The Coelogyne cristata next to me should be out in full flower when we are there.

We are all packed and ready to go. It has come to the point where I am counting down the hours. It isn’t long now.

With two days to go. It is time to start taking malaria tablets

It’s me. I am one of the team of 5 that are going to Rwanda on Saturday. There are 3 students an 2 staff on this trip. This is a picture of me with a Prosthechea cochleata.

The greenhouse is quiet this week with all the students on holiday. You might see a few people though as the greenhouse doesn’t stop for the school holidays. Watch it progress over the holiday just like we are.
