Meet the team – Teachers
We are lucky to have two of the best teachers. This is Simon Pugh-jones and Chantal Ndikumana. They are the teachers who are going to Rwanda.

Jake is our economics expert and an enthusiast for supporting development in Rwanda. Here he is discussing the in-vitro orchids we are taking with us with our local FERA plant health inspector. The good news is that our plants now have a phytosanitary certificate to go with their import certificate.
Zoe is going to Rwanda as our orchid growing expert. After six years in the orchid project she knows a lot about orchids and has developed a broader knowledge of horticulture by spending two summers at the University of Bristol Botanic Gardens.
It’s me. I am one of the team of 5 that are going to Rwanda on Saturday. There are 3 students an 2 staff on this trip. This is a picture of me with a Prosthechea cochleata.
