Meeting with the NABE
We have just had a brilliant meeting with the deputy director general of export operations and market development. He was very enthusiastic about the project and wanted to help any way that he could.

You probably are looking at this post thinking that we are complaining about nothing as we are in Rwanda and you are in the UK. However we must of had two days of rain in the UK in 30mins. It was very wet and probably asked for it with the school activity.
We have now met with two schools that were really enthusiastic. One was a secondary and the other a primary vet with the same level of excitement. Simon also got them all using there hands to make a rainstorm.
A very successful first day is drawing to a close. We have had fantastic meetings with the acting principle of the Katabi Conservation College, our first school – The College Amis des Enfants – the Director General Science, Technology and Research the President’s advisor and Rwanda’s most experienced orchid grower.
