Prosthechea brassavolae grows in central America and in our greenhouse in warm America.  It is found at 900-2500 meters in wet pine-oak forest.  Its flowers are faintly fragrant.  It is the orchid on our logo.

Prosthechea kautzkii grows in central and south America and in our greenhouse is in warm America. It is found in primary forests in bright light around 500-1200 meters. It flowers in late spring to early summer.

Prosthechea fragrans grows in central and south America from lowland tropical rainforest to lower montane forests up to 2000 meters. In our greenhouse it is found in warm America.  Its common name is ‘The fragrant Prosthechea’.

Prosthechea prismatocarpa grows in central America, in low cloud forest on large tree branches, and is found in our greenhouse in warm America.  Its common name is ‘Prism-Shaped Seedpod Prosthechea’.  It has long lasting, waxy, fragrant flowers.

Prosthechea radiata is found in central and south America, and in our greenhouses grows in warm America.  It is fragrant, heavy textured, and easy to grow with lovely cockleshell flowers.  Its common name is ‘Lined Petal Prosthechea’
