The second day with Byimana school students was brilliant fun when we took them to nyungwe forest and they were able to identify orchids in the wild.
Today’s workshops cover a wide rage of orchid science.
This afternoon we have the first school, Byimana, arriving for the workshop session. This is our preparation for the 3 different sections.
Orchid of the day is little Cynorkis anacamptoides which we found on Friday in Kamiranzovu. It is worth of orchid of the day as the seed we collected was the first Nyungwe seed to be sown in the Kitabi lab during the workshop sessions. The momentous moment is captured below.
