Yesterday was pose for photos day at the orchid project. We had the chairs of both Bath and North East Somerset Council and Norton Radstock Town Council with us to present our Britain in bloom trophy (hurrah!) Our award was the South West TV cup for outstanding project. Well done everyone.

Well, it’s now official! The new school greenhouses are now open! We’re having a great time here at the orchid festival; We’ve got orchids, talks, tours, tombola and lots of cake!

We’ve come up with a schedule of lectures and main events for the Writhlington Orchid Festival. Tours shall be operating throughout the day as well as refreshments in the dining room.
