Coelogyne stricta

Our Coelogyne stricta has started to come into flower and for some reason all of our Coelogynes that have come into flower have started with two flowers. Coelogyne stricta is quite a large species and each flower measures 2 inches across. This orchid is quite similar to Coelogyne elata.


Temprate/sub tropical

The section of the greenhouses we call Temperate/sub tropical has turned flat! Coelogyne cristata

I apologise that you can’t see this, but our large Coelogyne cristata is coming in to flower with two white and orange flowers. We have moved it up to temperate/sub tropical so that it takes as long as possible to flower and has as many flowers for the London show.
