This bulbophyllum is a mini-miniature that is new to 365 days of orchids.

Bulbophyllum tenellum has tiny species with 4mm bulbs and 1cm leaves with elegantly striped and relatively large 1cm flowers held on the thinnest of stems, a real treat.

Bulbophyllum tenellum is endemic to Java where it grows from 1000-1700m where it will experience a warm climate with moisture throughout the year. We grow the species warm (min 17C) and mounted on cork so that it can scramble about and present it wonderful flowers to their best.
