After a quick stop at the hotel to freshen up we arrive at MRSM school to be welcomed by the 12 strong student orchid lab team and our partners from the Sarawak Orchid Society. A quick look at the photograph above shows the energy and enthusiasm behind the project and the reason it is already proving so successful.

We all moved to the propagation laboratory to see the progress made since July and to open the cases of plants, chemicals, books and equipment that we had carried with us.

We also looked at the old school shade house and its new planned location as an orchid project growing house.

Tomorrow we start the programme of workshops – more to follow on that tomorrow.
