After our amazing trip we have lots of exciting projects to work on back at Mendip that will support the Orchid Project in Sarawak.

These include developing ideas for the proposed orchid walk at the Cultural Village. Developing potential project ideas for the second school to join the project , and maintaining a data base of Sarawak Orchid Species we have seen along with locations to help SARORSO members develop their own expertise.

We will also be staying in contact ,through SARORSO, with all the great people and institutions we have worked with to open future possibilities for collaborative work. This includes the Herbarium, the Kuching Centre for Technical Excellence (CENTEXS), and the guides we have met at the five national parks we have visited. There are opportunities too for students who didn’t come on this visit.
