Aspasia lunata

Aspasia lunata in a free flowering and scented orchid species native to southern Brazil, Paraguay and Bolivia where it grows in warm forests from 200-750m. As a warm tolerant member of the Oncidium subtribe it has been used extensively to breed easy to grow hybrids with starry flowers. In our opinion none are as attractive as the species.
