WSBEorchids

4 days to Sarawak

Just four days until we return to Sarawak, and continue our work with the students of MRSM School Kuching and the Sarawak Orchid Society.

The lab at MRSM is already producing very exciting results and this week we received photographs (above) of the Dendrobium anosmum seed students sowed in July and the extended student team preparing for the visit (below)

Dendrobium anosmum is the flagship species for the project and we are delighted that the first sowing has been such a success. The team have already proved that they can grow native species from seed and the future for orchid conservation around the project is very exciting.
