WSBEorchids

Thank you to my wonderful students and volunteers for a fantastic Show.

This photo of Chloe giving a native orchid propagation demonstration for the Hardy Orchid Day to a crowded room of enthralled visitors is a great example of the wonderful job the students of the orchid project have done this weekend at the British Orchid Show. They gave lectures, gave tours, looked after visiting traders and exhibitors, talked orchids with everyone and so much more.

The student team were supported by a great team of adults too. These were parents, ex-students, school staff and volunteers – an altogether fantastic team.

Thanks again to all our visitors – it has been a please to host you all.

It was a pleasure to be part of such a great event which has such a positive and educational effect on the kids. The students were incredible and we’re a huge credit to the school. Think it’s fair to say that it was a massive success with everyone pulling together and creating this show. Well done Simon you have a magic touch in the schooling world and The support you get is because you are well respected and give a lot to us and our kids.

Thank you Simon and all the team who helped organise the Show. It was really enjoyable. What i particularly liked was the orchid knowledge and enthusiasm that the students gave. My particular favorite was the female student (green hair) who was in the propagation laboratory.
