Another update on the Coelogyne seedlings sown on 27th April. Today Jess has re-plated the first jar of germinated seed into twenty fresh jars of agar to give them the space and nutrients they need for the next stage of their development. Actually, replating at under a month old is a record for us as we have never seen growth this fast before – they clearly like conditions here at Mendip School.
