This is a brilliant orchid to grow – long lasting bright orange flowers and attractive grey green slightly farinose leaves. It is native to Cemtral America and Mexico where its habitat at 1400-2600m suggest it would do well cool or intermediate. We grow this plant in warm Americas (Min 14C) hanging in good light. This year it has four flower spikes and it will be in flower all spring.
