Many thanks to all those who helped make Saturday’s Orchid Festival such a success.

Our visiting orchid societies put on some outstanding displays full of interesting plants and a bonus display by Kelvin Bush of his miniature plants growing in glass spheres. Chantelle offered a fantastic array of orchid species and hybrids for sale and Dino added interest by publicising his fantastic Wild Orchid and Culture Tour.

The volunteer team did a fantastic job and I have been inundated with thanks to pass on to the food team, Jacob and Jess for their talks, and the whole student team for their enthusiasm, knowledge and entertaining tours.
