Pollination in action. I don’t know if we can all remember Bert the bee pollinating one of Common Spotted orchids during last years Malvern Show, but this show we had a fly we named Fred pollinating one of our show Masdevallias. It was no surprise this Masdevallia had attracted the fly, it smells really rotten in which we get members of the public to take a good whiff at! Fortunately we also have an antidote of beautiful smelling Prosthechea radiata and Neofinetia falcatum also on our display.
