Now in Kigali after leaving Kitabi this morning enjoying our lovely hotel and enjoying some free time.
As you know we have encountered some stunning birds in Nyungwe. Today’s most exciting was a black and white casqued hornbill (Bycanistes subcylindricus). It is clearly pleased to have found a nice ripe forest fruit. We also spotted Blue Monkey and two groups of Mountain Monkey including this one.
What is long green and venomous? We had 2 strokes of good luck in the forest today, the first was that we found this amazing sedge viper, the second was that it didn’t bite us.
