This year will see the first Writhlington Autumn Orchid Festival.  This will be taking place on the 25th September this year.

In addition to it featuring an opportunity to visit the school and school greenhouses, this day will feature exhibits from around the county as part of the Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset Orchid Show.

There will also be lectures from our orchid teams on our latest travels, spotting orchids in the wild and growing orchids.  These will likely be taking place in our brand new theater, something we are really looking forward to using!

This event is shaping up to be a great day and we look forward to seeing you all there.  More details about charges etc will be made closer to the event.  In the meantime, keep that date free, and tell your friends and family!
