On Thursday 17th September, Simon Pugh-Jones will be giving a talk at the Bristol University Botanical Gardens titled: “Returning Cymbidium whiteae to the cloud kingdom” The lecture takes place at Churchill Hall at 7.30pm. This sunday we will have a small display along with sales and informational posters at the Bristol University Botanic Garden. The gardens will be open from 2pm. Rather interestingly Simon is singing this weekend in London, meaning that I’m being turned loose on the public! See you there!

Over the weekend we were spending time at the welsh botanic garden for the welsh orchid festival. We had great fun! The display looked great and, though we weren’t judged for it, we thing it was excelent seeing as it was erected in less than 2 hours.
